I have been collecting this type of Bible for the purpose of gift giving . It is a good quality made book that is easy on the eyes . The pages are a good size , without comments or notation in the sides or middle . It is true that the King James Version is out of fashion and I have been told by people who have been to Bible School that there are better translations available . But the church has used this same Bible for four hundred years , that's four hundred years of ministry , text books such as Matthew Henry , Strongs concordance , Strongs Exhaustive Concordance and Vine's expository dictionary . There are many Bible reference books available based on the King James . The Presbyterians , the brethren and some Pentecostals still use the King James . R W Schambach , Reinhardt Bonnke and Billy Graham used the King James to good effect recently . They have passed on but you can still hear them speak on YouTube .
I have used the King James for 33 years and have memorized passages from it . People don't seem to like that , especially the Enemy . People always say that they cannot understand the King James texts but that depends on their willingness to listen . For the word of God is quick , and powerful , and sharper than any twoedged sword , piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit , and of the joints and marrow , and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart . The Bible of Christ
This Bible is excellent, it's cover is made of a fine hard back and from what I have been told the writings are of those written by christ.
I have not had time to start it as of yet but as God and Christ are my witnesses I suffer with blackouts but I am surely when ready and able to, looking forward to reading the Bible completely through.
