Only works half the time

Took this tool out of it's packaging and it didn't work right off the start. Took it apart and re-assembled. Now it seems to work, but only half of the time I depress it into a piece of cold rolled steel. H. Freight has same product for less money but either way "you get what you pay for".Read full review

Quality and Inexpensive

The barrel is made of machined brass. It has a nice balanced feel to it. Very easy to point and mark with. Not sure how long the point will hold up, but it can be reground easily enough.
