Only suitable for ROUND tubing

These feet are ONLY suitable for ROUND tubular steel and NOT for square or rectangular tubing which just happens to be what my caravan steps are made from! Also they are only really suitable if the legs they are to be fitted to are 90 deg. to the floor. Everything else apart the quality is poor as each foot is made by 2 pieces of plastic pressed together and they very soon part company. At £3.99 + £2.99 p&p just don't make the mistake I made as I would have been happier simply putting a fiver in our wheelie bin! Just a little surprised KAMPA put their name to such a poor product. Kampa Universal Bigfoot, Pack of 4. There are No Pros or Cons to highlight for this product


This is the worst item that i have ever bought.
It is not fit for purpose.
This was purchased for caravan steps to enable spreading the load on Awning Carpet so as not to cause any puncture damage in the carpet especially on damp grass pitches, what i did not know was that the big feet are made in two separate parts, which come apart in use making it dangerous as they do come apart in use, and after only 4/5 days of use one of the big foot cracked and broke as the material is also brittle.

These clip on feet are vital if you are using conventional camping chairs / tables with tubular steel legs . The prevent the legs punching holes through your awning mat .

Modification required

The feet have removable discs underneath that continually fall off you then have to remove the feet to refit the discs before fitting them back on the legs of the step. However if the discs are glued onto the feet before fitting then they will work fine so in that respect I would say they are good value considering the price.Read full review

Big feet.

Did the trick

Purchased a compact camping seat for when I’m away on the bike, but the legs sank into anything other than solid ground as soon as I sat in it. Although designed for chairs with a slightly larger diameter frame than on a compact, these are still great and just clip on when I need them. No more sinking feeling. Bargain.Read full review
