Keep the faith - its all its cracked up to be

I am not the biggest Bon Jovi fan in the world. I like my rock a little heavier, with guts and attitude. But, as I have grown older I must have have mellowed and now realise the majesty of this album. It has some great 'Stadium filling-sing-a-long with the band songs' - 'I believe', 'Keep the faith' and 'I'll sleep when Im dead' to name only the first three songs. 'Bed of Roses' is still a bit schmalzy but I find myself singing the song for hours afterwards, but 'Dry County' a 9 minute epic is worth the price of this album alone. This would fit into Mountain territory or Neil Young. Brilliant songwriting and some great production by Bob Rock. Yep, spend your money, its worth every penny.Read full review...
