Super Quality on one of the best British films

Purchased this movie after just seeing the 50th anniversary showing at a local cinema on DCP which was very poor quality lots of close ups were out of focus, So please that this Bluray is excellent quality for the age of the film and great to see extras too. Looking forward to the Barry Hines Kes statue in Barnsley Town Centre in the near future.Read full review

A very good film by ken Loach, very emot...

A very good film by ken Loach, very emotional, and a great way for the young lad to take his mind off his brutal lifestyle, and focus it on something positive and uplifting.

So timeless for a 1970 film

This film, I'm sure speaks to all generations... Very heartwarming and always takes me back to my childhood, good and bad memories. Perfect!

Wonderful

A wonderful coming of age story of a young boy from a poor mining town who nurses and trains a Kestrel, it is gripping, funny, and sad.
