Nothing happened

I think I must have been sold a bottle of water. I carried out the instructions on the bottle, i.e. hot water into the toilet bowl then add the product. It was supposed to fizz and when this stopped, to go ahead and clean off the limescale with a brush. Problem was, there was no reaction in the toilet bowl at all, as though I had just added more water. I would not buy this again, absolutely useless.Read full review...

Kilrock big K multi purpose descaler.

This is by far the BEST descaler I have ever used for my kettle, which is a clear glass one, so it shows every bit of limescale.

It works!

Pour a portion into your brown toilet. Follow up with a full freshly boiled kettle of water. Leave 5-10mins. Scrub with toilet brush a bit. Rejoice that something actually works.

However, the process will need to be repeated every time you decide that the toilet looks too sad to even sit on. For I and my girlfriend, that means e.g. every six weeks. But it depends on how hard your water is and on the condition of the toilet's inner surfaces (not to mention, how often you pay it a visit).Read full review...

Great product

As soon as i received the item i went to work straight away descaling the electric power show heating element. I followed the instructions to mix the solution with water and poured it in.
Wow straight away it started to work, fizzing and dissolving the limescale. This stuff is very strong even when diluted so wear gloves and keep away from carpets and fabrics as it will mark and stain. Oh and wear old clothes to avoid ruining them.

One mix was enough to do the shower element several times and had lots left over.

No elbow grease required with Kilrock.

A great limescale remover.

I have been a long term user of Kilrock. I personally find it perfect for getting rid of limescale and with care easy to use.

It really does work

Our kitchen tap was covered in scale and looking bad generally. After applying the Kilrock the difference was dramatic. I would treat it with respect though, and the fumes are definitely to be avoided! You really do need good ventilation, but it is worth it in the end.Read full review...
