Not heavy duty! Spend more and get more.

Mine broke first time. Flimsy metal and most certainly not heavy duty. I thought it was too good to be true, and I was proven right! You need to spend more to get a proper tool.

I like it a lot although you have to be careful in terms of the amount of pressure exerted in squeezing the water out. It can't take too much weight otherwise it bends and could distort.

Not worth the bother.

Simple enough to use but it takes several weeks for the briquettes to dry, and that's sitting on top of my wood stove. Indulgent at best....

Too much faffing around

Poorly designed and made. Tried using several times but couldn’t get on with it so will order my previous brand

Not so strong

When building the first few bricks in squeezing the water out I managed to bend the handles and the inner plate. I had to straighten it out to use it again.

Not fit for purpose!

Sorry, but this thing is flimsy and not worth buying. It bent after TWO briquettes and actually, it had bent panels in it after opening the box from new. The tin used is wafer thin. I never ever give comments about items, but feel i have to on this occasion. I'm going to have to do major modifications to it to bring it up to strength for the job!Read full review...

Brick brickette maker

Quite pleased with this. Useful way of using up shredded paper items. We have a woodburning stove so good for us. Bricks do take a while to dry for burning but expected that. Would recomnend.
