Does not fit flat to wall when on the tap. Have had this type before which fitted. This one is shorter . So there is a gap at the bottom.

Does the job

Does the job well. Easy to cut with a knife if needed as I had to to make space for a pipe. May not fit tap if it has a screw on hose attachment, but these are easily removed for winter.

It does the job it is supposed to do adequately but is a bit on the flimsy side. Mine arrived in a plastic bag without any protection and was slightly cracked along one edge, this was easily repaired with tape but could have been much worse. It is simple to use and should keep out the frost OK!Read full review

Does the job with amendments

The problem with this product is that it cannot be placed on the tap where there is a hoze lock nozzle attached. however, I cut a hole in it in the appropriate place and with some spare polystyrene and gorilla glue made it fit with the hose lock nozzle in place. To reattach the hose lock nozzle every time will be inconvenient as it needs to be screwed on with sealing tape.Read full review

Much better versions out there

Aldi sell far superior versions of these for the same price, this is just s polystyrene cup with a badly glued foam cushion and flimsy loop for tap
Will it protect your tap from freezing....Yes, so it will do the same job as any other, but there are better ones out there with an outer shell over the polystyrene... Much smarter and better finished.Read full review

Good but small

I found it to small for my outside tap the top of my tap has broken through the top of this cover so some protection is better than nothing but could have been bigger

Wrapped item in Duct tape as soon as it arrived as recommended by another purchaser. It is only polystyrene with no protective outer cover. Winter will tell if its any good.

Not as expected

Have bought these before from other suppliers, so knew what I wanted. This sounded ideal, strange colour white though? The reason it is white is because it is polystyrene with no outer shell! I don't imagine it will survive the winter - not good value for the money paid.Read full review
