Kingston 32GB SD Card

I've only just started using this card in a dash-cam and so far it is working as it should.

I've not checked its formatted capacity, I don't know whether the data transfer rate matches the claimed speed, I've no idea how many times the memory can be overwritten.

All I can say is that it currently works and I've no idea what its long term performance will be.

Pay more for one that works!

I bought this for my car dashcam. Would not work. Formatted it on my computer, - still would not work. I swapped it with my 16GB phone SD card, which does work in my car dashcam, and this card worked for a few days in my (New) Lumia windows phone - then the phone kept telling me "SD card unavailable". Many times re-formatting and re-trying, then re-installing all data to it with my phone, and now it will not work at all, although my computer reports that there is data on it. More trouble than I can cope with. An unreliable useless item. Now I have to buy another to replace it, and I will get one from Tesco - at least I can then easily return it if I have any problem. Just pay more for one that does work properly.Read full review...

Not a class 10

This looks identical in packaging and markings to a Kingston 32Gb Class 10 I already have. My current one has no problem recording continuous HD video. This one can only do bursts of a few seconds before stalling, a delay, then another few seconds. It can cache at Class10 speeds but not write to flash at them.Read full review...

2 GB memory card.

We have a Brilliant little Fuji Camera that takes a maximum 2 GB Memory Card. New ones can take higher, but our Fuji Camera s too good to bin, so I bought three. Plenty enough for our use.

Struggles With Recoding Continous Video Using ActionCam

Like a similar review posted below this mem card cuts out and only records video clips in short 3 min clips. Using my action cam and thought it was a problem with my camera. Went back to my old card that did not have the same problem. I think this card struggles with anything HD . Also failed to be read by my point and shoot camera. My advice; get a Sandisk spend a bit more for a mem card that holds less memory but has no problem recordingRead full review...

Does what I bought it for

Specifically for writing details on CD-R discs & similar formats. Comfortable to hold. Does not smudge & dries quickly so be careful as cannot be corrected/erased once written as it is designed to be permanent on discs shiny surface (obviously NOT to be used on the recording side).

Fine nib ensures legible precision whereas using a 'generic' marker may result in too thick & 'fluffy' lines giving a scruffy result.

You could probably use in conjunction with stencil templates for really accurate titles, lettering & spacing.

I just used freehand as for personal use so didn't need to be as if professionally printed.

Ink composition is such that chemicals that could adversely affect the CD-R finish, & therefore also the recorded data, are eliminated. No 'additive' fumes either!

Selection of colours (black, blue, green & red) allows for additional writing options if you want to colour code. For example I used the red pen to title BABYMETAL 'Red Night' live concert audio CD-Rs & the black pen for 'Black Night' recordings. Not yet had a need for the blue & green but they're there.

Appear durable but I haven't used them for any length of time.

Meets my needs.

SD not working

Initially bought for Xperia phone, however worked fine first, then can not access files, wiped out photos and documents. Never had a problem with this brand before, so suspect it's fake or not compatible for mobile phone storage. Gutted. Guess have to head to phone shop to help try to retrieve files somehow. Get genuine SD or one that works.Read full review...

Excellant but handle with care

The item is a good design it is simple but effective, however because it is small it renders the large casing to be easily damaged. Any slight twist and the casing fails and breaks open. Other than that it has the advantage of being able to be used in either SD or SSD ports on one memory card.Read full review...

Kingston are always good value and a name you can trust.

I really like these micro cards in an SD carrier because you can use them, across multiple devices and usually the speeds are reasonable, but good value against the cost.

GENUINE, proper SD card from Kingston.

This is perfect, thanks. Shame that so many sellers deal in fake counterfeit memory and we, the customer, only gets to find out later. We are left with the task of long-winded testing and / or buying software to do it for us. THIS is the genuine product. Thanks againRead full review...
