Kodak EasyShare CX7430 Digi camera is Brilliant!

This is a really easy to use and lightweight digital camera.The picture quality is very good and the ease of direct printing from camera to Kodak 6000 dock makes instant printing a breeze.This camera was purchased second hand for use with a kodak dock that I aquired from a charity shop for £9.99(bargain) and was mastered in no time.
The only thing I have a problem with is that I should have got it years ago and saved myself a fortune in developing!to print off only perfect instant photos of my grandchildren is so easy even he'll be able to learn how to use it, the eldest is 6yrs old.
Although this camera was not new,it came with all leads,software and instructions and can be used by downloading pictures directly onto a computer, it's a real great starter with 3xzoom, timer and many great features for a starter to use and perfect to master photography before I upgrade, which I definately will!!
The viewer is only small, to review pictures as you take them but that doesn't bother me as it's very clear.
The range of Kodak cameras to fit the dock is very comprehensive and I'd recommend anyone to get the complete set.Very very pleased with it.Read full review...

I LOVE THIS CAMERA,ITS SO EASY TO USE AND SIMPLE,
IM LOOKING FOR A GOOD 2ND HAND ONE ON E BAY AS I DROPPED MINE OFF THE TABLE THE OTHER DAY WHILE TAKING PHOTOS TO PUT ON E BAY,,,MY FLOORS ARE HARD,NOW IT HAS A RATTLE ND WONT WORK AT ALL.SO IM LOOKING TO GET ANOTHER ONE AS I HAVE THE PRINTER DOCK ETC STILL,
IVE BEEN SO PLEASED WITH THIS CAMERA MY 7 YEAR OLD CAN EVEN USE IT TOO.

I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA/PRINTER PACKAGE FOR MY FATER WHO IS NO IN HIS EIGHTIES HE LIKES TECHNOLOGY BUT GETS MIXED UP SO I WANTED SOMTHING SIMPLE WHERE HE COULD PICK UP AND USE AND THIS FITS THE BILL,SHOW PICTURE ON YOUR TV,PC OR PRINT USING THE PRINTER A GREAT IDEA.
THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING IS THE PRINTS ARE A BIT EXPENSIVE BUT YOU CAN DELETE BAD PHOTOS BEFORE THIS STAGE ANYWAY AND ONLY PRINT THE ONES YOU REALLY WANT.

Good buy

I had a Kodak 7330 previously. The catch on the battery door broke so had to use elastic band to keep it closed. Then the lens failed and all pictures were black. So loking to replace it I found the next model up the 7430. It is almost exactly the same except for the larger pixel size, the ability to tag favorite pictures and only upload those if necessary, plus an increased video footage memory. These cameras are simple to use but, for their size, deliver good quality pictures. I would recommend them, plus the easy use of the camera dock with the Kodak software make these cameras a good buy.Read full review...

nice family friendly camera

It is easy to handle it, but the screen could be a bit bigger and brighter. Not so difficult to find out how to use it. Small, compact good size and shape, comfortable to take pictures.

Kodak EasyShare CX7430 4.23 Megapixel Digital Camera

The trouble with buying cheap used cameras is that some functions may appear to work fine, but on further examination important ones do not. For example, purchased this camera for my son (who is one of twins) to get used to handling a digital camera at a minimum cost. Unfortunately, the view finder screen function did not operate correctly, and although you could view photos taken, the problem was actually seeing through the view finder screen to take them.

Unfortunately, sometimes items such as this are not examined properly by the vendor as they may not realise how to operate them properly. Therefore my advice is to ask questions about all functions of the camera, including making sure switches work correctly (had to return another faulty camera for my other twin son).Read full review...

Kodak EasyShare CX7430 Digital Camera

I bought this camera for my husband, because I already have one the same and find it easy to use, his (expensive) camera does not have a view finder, so in the sunshine he cannot see what is on the screen, where as the “Kodak Easy Share CX7430 Digital Camera” has a view finder, so he was always using my camera, but now he has his own, and we both use the printer dock that came with my camera originally. We are both pleased that we have this great camera.

Kodak EasyShare CX7430 Digital Camera

Nice handy sized point and shoot camera, not too big, not too small. The optical view finder means you can take time composing your picture without wasting battery power. Take time to familiarise yourself with all the various settings, it's surprising what can be achived with this versatile little camera.
On the down side, a little more zoom would have helped and it is a teeny bit battery hungry, so keep a few with you to feed it with. All said and done,a pleasing little device.Read full review...
