Does the trick!
I've bought three of these over the past couple of years...one for my mom, one for me and one for a friend. They do the trick for all of us. Assembly is a cinch. The pole is very skinny and flexible, but it has to be that way because I guarantee you are still going to hit it and you don't want to do any damage to your vehicle! It bends back easily and has never broken in all the times I have definitely "nudged" it! ;) The base is sturdy and I have had absolutely no problems with it falling over. If you get a bunch of wind in your garage, the top part will flash on its own...but that has only happened when my car was out of the garage and the door was up. The flashing lights have now gone out on mine and I need to purchase two button batteries to replace the ones that come with it. Obviously, you don't need the flashing lights, unless you have a really dark garage or something. I have a smaller size SUV and I can easily see it. If you had a really huge pickup truck with big tires, I'm not sure you would be able to see it over the hood when you tap it. Anyway, I'm really happy with this purchase.Read full review

Goes off all the time
The unit works. And it's not difficult to put together. Unfortunately, it has a couple characteristics that are mildly bothersome - first, it goes off all the time. Its at the back of the garage, FAR from the door, and sitting directly on the concrete floor so there's NO movement or bouncing, and yet even when there isn't any perceptible wind, if the garage door is open the thing goes off all the time. This wouldn't be much of an issue if it used common AAA batteries, but I believe it uses one of those far more expensive, and NOT rechargeable 2032 button batteries...
The other problem is it's too short for our truck. Once the truck gets close enough that it MAY set it off, it's below the hood and invisible (I'm 6'4" and I can't see it once I'm close - my wife is 5'9" and she can't see it if she's within 6 feet)... I'll have to pick up a 1/4" dowel rod or something to replace one of the segments so its tall enough to be useful.Read full review

Outside Use
Using this outdoors so it does light up when it gets windy. Had to add extra weight to keep it from falling over. I like that I can line up with it and get just the right distance from our home. I would prefer a metal rod instead of the plastic, but they work okay. High enough to see in back window of Dodge Caravan and Toyota Camry.Read full review

PARKEZ saves truck
Just purchased a new 2016 Silverado double cab pickup and it only clears the length of the garage by 6 inches. I position Park EZ to touch the front bumper to clear the garage door and it worked great. I can clearly see the flashing LED's and it has made my life easier knowing I won't damage my truck or the garage with this product. Would recommend the product for tight spaces.

Exactly what I needed
I have a garage with inside steps on one side so backing in my truck is difficult. Now that I have Parkez, it's a lot easier.

stands crooked and doesn't light up when the vehicle touches it
I was really anxious to get this, and the price was right, but the item is total JUNK. When the vehicle touches the pole, the sensor doesn't light up the sign. It only lights when you have it bent partway back.

Quick setup and easy to use

better than a hanging ball or laser indicator
easier to use than some silly hanging tennis ball. Put it where the front bumper is supposed to stop and the flashing lights do the rest. I also have a 3 light garage stop indicator and this is a no brainer. It's a tight fit in my garage and this does a great job. The original batteries died too soon but they are easy to swap out. I bought two and am very pleased with their operation. The stand might not be tall enough for some trucks but it shouldn't be hard to find some thin pipe to raise it if needed. I've had them a little over a month and hope they last a long time. My garage isn't going to change so maybe I should get a spare. This is one of those "seems really silly inventions" until you see how well it works. This is perfect for new drivers or for when you buy a new car and are getting used to it's new size. Even it the batteries die, it is still an easy indicator for parking in the garage. It does a great job of protecting the garage and the front of the car but won't stop the wife from ripping the mirrors off the doors.Read full review
