Easy to make and very nice to drink.
I received The Kefir culture with instructions that worked very well.
I use a medium size glass bowl.
3 glasses of mineral water. Not chlorinated.
3 tablespoons of refined sugar
1 tablespoon of unrefined sugar or Black strap molasses.
I use Black strap molasses.
Add the sugars to the water and stir well. I heat the water first in a microwave oven 1 minute
Place 4 tablespoons of Kefir grains in the solution.
add a handful of currents or sultanas or dried fruit.
I place cheese cloth over it.
It takers between 24 hours and 72 to mature
I take mine out at 32 to 48 hours.
I have double the amount of culture I put in when finished and separate it from the fruit for the next culture.
Then bottle it with a loose cap and put it in the fridge. It carries on carbonating.
Depending on when you take it out it is a mild acid sweet taste.

Water kefir grains
It’s not easy involving lots of sugar added into the water to make the kefir works.... The first batch was ok, just a few little bubbles on the kefir surface after 5 days. Am now, preparing the second batch. Hoping for the best kefir results.

Makes a great drink.
So far, this product is performing brilliantly, almost too brilliantly. Needs very regular burping to avoid an eruption from the bottle! I say "so far" because this is my third attempt with water kefir grains. Previous batches just dwindled, until no grains were left. Grains worked brilliantly from first day. E bag was heat sealed, so no leakage. My grains are working flat out as I'm making new water kefir all the time. I'm buying more grains today for my bro. I highly recommend this supplier. These reliable grains do NOT require rehydrating, they work immediately but of course, WK should be gradually introduced to your diet, to allow your resident microbiome to get used to the newcomers. As a diabetic, I'm pushing the 2nd ferment some extra days to use up the sugar till the sweetness is nigh on gone. My experience has been that this is an excellent product and gave excellent results. It's the first time I have used & cultivated Kefir. The first batch was slow to get going, though this was explained in the instructions that this was likely to happen and to be expected. However, the second, third, forth batches etc have really taken off, and I now have 3 times the volume of grains compared to when they arrived. Fantastic grains right from the first brew.
The grains were very active right from the start and produced a very fizzy Kefir right from the start. I use a quart of Brecon Carreg mineral water, organic unrefined cane sugar and half a tea spoon of molasses. They multiply times 3 every brew so I've started eating them and adding to smoothies. Lives up to its reputation
Can't tell you about any health benefits as only just started fermenting but product does exactly what is required. Something of a miracle to see how it proliferates in a couple of days to far more granules than i can use. It takes me about 2 days to brew a couple of mornings worth so there is an easy cycle of cultivation. Now on my 5th brew.
Have tried it with nut milks and just water. Both are great in their different ways.

If feeling much more energetic is the measure of success it works.
I got the culture going in a cooled solution of muscavado sugar in boiling water.and then changed to coconut water. It seemed a bit yeasty initially. I'd put the grains into warm sugar solution and kept it in the kitchen, which probably encouraged the yeast. I then put the insulated flask in the garage to cool it and it tastes better-balanced. I drink a glass every morning and feel much better for it. I don't know how long the culture will last, and I hope I'll be able to tell if it's going off, but the quality of the starter seemed really good so I think I'll just buy and start afresh regularly.
