Great movie to watch over and over again!

This is the modern version of the story of Thor Heyerdahl's 1940s expedition across the Pacific on a wooden raft. Not to be confused with the documentary of the same name made by Heyerdahl's crew, this movie is beautifully filmed is truly an adventure flick. The scenery, the storyline, and the inspiration of the film make me want to watch it again and again! The only drawback is that the small screen (TV) doesn't do justice to the open ocean and night sky scenes the way a full-sized theatre screen can. I am thrilled to have Kon Tiki in my film library, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others!Read full review...
