A true audiophile with listening preferences that include Rock n' Roll (50's to present day), Classical, and some Country I only expected these to be OK. Well these Koss Pathfinders are excellent at all! Though they are a bit to get used to in your ears, as the name suggests the journey is worth the effort. Clean for the full range- very good full bass, crisp highs, and clear midrange - there really is not a weakness in sound quality to point out. And all of that with excellent sensitivity (meaning they are not short in volume). Lightweight and good sound quality, but ...

The travel case is nice and there are two extra foam inserts. They are light weight and work well with my Blackberry Z10 smart phone. The sound quality so far has been good. My issue is in the size of the foam inserts. I guess my ears seem small for the expanding foam inserts. To wear I need to compress the foam with my fingertips, insert, and then hold in place until the foam expands. The situation could be helped with an extra set of smaller foam inserts.

Love these little guys

I've used Koss Sparkplug's for about 10 years now and was bleak when I couldn't find them anymore. Figured this is kinda the replacement. These guys work just as well as the Sparkplug - they give a great bass and mid response and fit comfortably in the ear. Also great at cancelling outside noise. Not great for jogging / exercise (they don't like H20) so be warned. But otherwise, bang for buck I have not ever found anything better.Read full review
