What a great, durable phone!

I was a bit hesitant since it wasn't equipped with the latest and fastest processor or the most ram compared to Samsung and LG etc but since for some reason I have no luck with either of those brands lasting more than a few weeks I figured what do I have to lose. The price blows away the others, it has worked flawlessly so far for nearly 2 weeks... To be honest I haven't noticed any lags at all compared to the Samsung and LG I had... It has taken drops and It doesn't feel like I'm gonna break it if I don't treat it gentile.. It's just a good feeling tough phone that takes what a real life person might put it through... The only thing that isn't great is the camera which under some conditions is lousy. Seriously I can't recommend this phone enough. I doubt u will be disappointed.Read full review...

Makes me nervous

The phone looks new but the screws on front plate are not the same as my original phone, leads me to believe this may be a rebuilt or clone? The charger it came with does not work, I tried it on multiple devices. I am hesitant to use the phone because I am wondering if it has any type of tracking or monitoring built in to it that I would not be aware of until I get robbed blind. It came wrapped in bubble wrap, no box or manual? I was hesitant to buy it in the first place because the price was so low. I think I may try to return it. I can't be sure its a good value or if the battery has good life because I am afraid to use it.Read full review...

Tough Phone

I am a heavy duty mechanic that crawls all over equipment to work on them. I had a Kyrocera Dura phone previously and it worked well until a loader arm cylinder crushed it. This Kyrocera Brigadier is a little nicer phone seems to be a little faster and I love being able to wireless charge it. My phone was used but it was in very good condition. I bought a case and tempered glass for this phone also, due to the nature of my work but it isn't necessary, just trying to keep it from being scratched. I use my phone to call, text, and access the internet. Although this is not an Apple with all the bells and whistles it serves me very well.Read full review...

I believe the Brigadier is the best sub-5" display phone on the market.

The best all-purpose phone 4G phone. I like to know I have my phone with me, so I actually prefer a bit of heft. The sapphire-coated screen is amazing- no scratches yet. It's also water-proof, and has survived many 4-5 foot drops on all surfaces. Decent speaker phone, 2 GB RAM is better-than-average for sub-5" displays. Great battery life...can last 4+ days between charges with moderate/light voice and text usage. Verizon recently released Android 5.1.1 upgrade- a great surprise. NOTE: the phone must be un-rooted for a successful upgrade. I wish the 3100mAH battery was removable, but a minor issue.Read full review...

Light weight and versatile

I had it before and was extremely satisfied. Long battery life and compact. However, very limited 16 gig and memory had to be cleared so often. Other than that great for my business where I had to send pictures to my clients and use email to communicate. I turn off after work hours so no more interruptions. But for the price its best to have it. Rugged built and had accidentally dropped from my shirt pocket but nothing happened.Read full review...

rugged and "water-resistant"

good: see the title?
this model is indestructible; no 'shock-case' required. the Sapphire glass is as good as is advertised. the unit resists water penetration but i wouldn't use it *in* the lake. i like the one-touch button feature. the camera is more than adequate.

bad: med battery life, reasonably clear speaker but overly-sensitive mic.
the volume level buttons are interchangeable...sometimes the up causes the volume to go down and vice-versa (tho i've yet to see this reported with ANY other unit sold).

i recommend it if you can find a NEW unit. i am currently searching for a comparable replacement device.

Great phone!

Does everything you need it to. NOT a phone for tech geeks or teenage girls!!!
Simple phone, made to do what it's for.......MAKING PHONE CALLS! and texting is great to.
If you want to be constantly on your phone watching movies, internet and social media.....YUK! spend a ton of money on something else. This is a phone for the REAL man.Read full review...

For the Outdoors Person

Maybe it's because I am an EE, but the latest fashion and features don't interest me a bit. What I want is 24 hour battery life, and rugged enough to survive regular mishaps. Kyocera is the one that fits the bill, and actually their Android Voice Recognition for hands-free texting is the best I've seen so far. Since Verizon won't support a good new Kyocera, these E6782 are the best option if you are a Verizon customer, and a great deal on the refurb market too. IPhone users, eat your heart out when you break it, we pay $100 for another one!Read full review...

Rugged but great functionality

I don't fancy Smartphones that are only good for show. This phone proves to be my best fit, not only does it have rugged features, it also has decent functionality compared to other mainstream later model smartphones despite being around for a while. With that being said, there seems to be a problem with the mic when I use for internet calls with Line, Skype,..etc. Other than that, it is a good value for money.Read full review...

Husband...

I bought this for my farmer husband, he is pretty tough on phones and this is his 3rd one of these. His only complaint is the sound when he is on the tractor! So louder speaker would be nice, but that might just be him :) He likes this phone, easy to use and pretty tough overall. He is not a techy!Read full review...
