Really great value for money

I have just purchased my second batch of these boxes because they really are well worth the money.
Once put together these boxes are strong and extremely sturdy, double thickness cardboard really makes the difference.
If put together correctly and the right way up, these boxes have additional folds that can be used if the box needs to be shallower in height, I have found this really useful and really saves on bubble wrap, because by reducing the height it means you don't have to pack out the empty space in the box.
On both of my purchases I paid the additional cost for next day delivery, again, well worth it.

If you want to ship and move a dolls house these are perfect

they are boxes as boxes go, we needing packing boxes to use for moving house , the boxes we got could`nt pack a dolls house, the tape is of poor quality that is supplied with the boxes, packed one box with dvds in only big enough for them really , after taping the bottom , the tape came loose and the dvds fell out :( had to go out and buy better quality tape ,,, they ok for small stuff, what else can i say , the boxes that we got say Large moving Boxes , personally i think they are small to medium and im being generousRead full review...

Size IS important ...

Good quality boxes but the X-LARGE description is a little misleading. We have hundreds of books and one of these boxes is very heavy when packed with them.

The delivery men brought two sizes of boxes and this box was more like what they described as small. That said, if we'd packed one of their large boxes with books, we'd never have been able to lift it.

So, horses for courses. If you're packing books, or small heavy objects, these are ideal. If you wanted to put bedding or clothing in them, they would be pretty useless.

Our neighbour bought boxes from a local self-storage company and both sizes were bigger than these ... but I suspect they weren't cheap. And our Removal Firm (GB Liners) sells off used boxes for £1.00 each, so that's maybe another option if you want bigger boxes at a reasonable price.Read full review...

Perfect... Strong boxes, a removal mans dream.

We recently moved house and these were perfect for the job. It made the move more straight forward as all the boxes were the same size, so sat in the van / lorry all snug and compact. We ended up using 60 of these as we massively mis-judged what we had. Whatever you think you have, then add another 25%. The more you can box the better... Also, if you dont have a tape gun - then its worth the investment. Great boxes, strong, and re-usable - we now have 60 boxes flatten and stored for any future move. Great Offer

I ordered 2 sets of 20. To my surprise, they came the next day.

As like other reviews, the tape provided does not stick well with the boxes.

The boxes them selves are standard but durable. The right size enough for a one man lift. Any bigger would require two people.

Great boxes, buy some tape

These are great storage boxes. Really sturdy. you also get some bubble wrap which is brilliant.
Note, you will need to buy some tape as the item supplied doesn't stick.

Good value for money, but basic.

I'm glad I bought this pack; 20 multi-purpose boxes with tape and bubble wrap came in very handy when the removal company were late delivering the packaging they'd promised. However, I wouldn't really choose to do the whole move using these as despite being double-walled they aren't all that strong and do strain at the seams with books inside. The bubble wrap is really very thin, and the tape snaps easily.

I wouldn't really describe the boxes are large in removal terms. Good for miscellaneous bits and pieces, books (if you don't completely fill them as they'd be too heavy).Read full review...

Great boxes....fast!

My boxes were with me in less than 24 hrs, just what you need when you realise you’ve grossly underestimated how much stuff you have to move.

The boxes are strong enough for any load, and just the right size for a woman on her own to handle. They can be made up in two other, smaller sizes for books and other small but heavy items, just by a couple of quick cuts with a craft knife and folding along the pre-scored lines.

The reason for four stars and not five? I would advise having a few rolls of good quality duct tape to hand, as the tape provided is not great, but for the price, well I’m not complaining. The bubble wrap is handy, but if you have a lot of fragile stuff, then you will need more.Read full review...

Good sturdy medium sized boxes

20 medium boxes, not large, but the dimensions are clear in the listing so I wasn't surprised. The packing tape is very weak - probably wouldn't bother including it in the deal as it's not strong enough and doesn't stick very well!
