Great for interfacing, not ideal for programming.

So I bought this to make programming my ESP8266 easier as I was using cables and a usb to serial converter. When this arrived I plugged everything in and was good to go. The only issue is that when programming the ESP module, a GPIO needs to be pulled to ground during start-up. This doesn't happen on this converter so has to be done manually which is a little inconvenient.
