I was looking for Lego sets that contained mostly bricks, rather than fancy shapes and character pieces. My Grandsons are still young and just want to build big simple structures not small fiddly technical stuff. I bought this set for my grand children as it had an extra £10 off when I did. There are quite a few fiddly bits in the set but the instructions for the pieces to make up are fairly straightforward and kept them entertained for a few hours.
