Review: Lego Star Wars Saga for Nintendo Wii

I bought this game as I love Star Wars and Lego and having recently bought a Wii I was looking for a Sci-Fi RPG game that I thought I would enjoy and I have not been disappointed!

The depth and scope of play are awesome. All of the characters we know and love are represented in the game and the animation of the lego characters is at the same time detailed and authentic, without being restrictive. Types of play are also varied and follow the themes of the saga, without being strictly slavish to the original story.

The control interface is a little complex, as is often the case with these type of games, but is quickly mastered and gives a good ranges of action options, especially when playing with a party containing different types of characters, which are often necessary to complete the challenging levels of play.

I've not finished the game yet and I expect to be spending many, many more hours before I do so! But I feel I have got a lot of value for money out of this game already and I expect to keep dipping into it again and again over the next few years to replay different sections, even after completing the game!Read full review...

Great fun, a little bit repetitive at times.

Christmas gift for grandchildren and what a hit!. Its the first time I have heard a father suggesting to his six year old son: "if you pick a fight in a bar, expect people to hit you back....!" Amazing. From the adult pioint of view it seemed a little tedious going round finding different sets of switches to pull in order to get in to the varuous comaportments - a bit 'samey', but it didnt seem to worry the kids! A popular game with kudos - Grandson loves it.

This is a good product. We bought it for our grandson who we babysit a couple of times a week. We got it because he already had the game at home so he already knew how to use the game - which we would have little idea how to even get started.

Good points - the game looks good and has the 'wow-factors' of being Star Wars and Lego based. Thinking about it, probably, our grandson plays the boxing game and beach games more often as he doesn't regularly have extended periods of time with us - but it is there for longer stays, and for when he gets a little older.Read full review...
