Daunting at first, but patience pays
I had a lot of fun with this build, although dot was somewhat daunting upon realising that this isn't a 'by numbers' kit. By step 5 you've opened multiple bags and all those pieces look overwhelming. It's definitely worth finding the space where you can lay everything out so that you can find the next piece easier.
I acquired this set with a pretty decent discount, but after building it would be comfortable paying MSRP for it. It's a fun leisurely build and the end result is pretty impressive.
Upon completion this is definitely more of a display piece than a toy, the roof is attached, not fixed, which makes handling a bit awkward, although it's cool that everything that should opens up, and the engine and drive train work really well.
I probably wouldn't recommend this as a first set, but if you're relatively Lego experienced then it should be a breeze. Read full review

Led for porsche
Lights work well but this does not come with a usb battery holder. The picture shows an remote power pack and doesn’t come with kit so you will need to have one to make work or you will have to power from mains. Secondly these are not like the single leds that fit in the rear lights and exhaust as in more expensive kits they simple fit behind the lights to give the effect. 4 block connectors don’t fit anywhere inside so you will have to double side tape down. Wires from front lights are red and yellow so visible when not on so not good if you want to make discrete. As a cheap effect they work well and are very bright but for those who want a more authentic effect this kit these are not as good as others out there.Read full review

A great father and son, father and daughter, experience also. This just doesn't limit your capabilities, but enhances them.
I know it might be expensive to some, but I do see that you can use Klarna, and pay over a certain agreed period. This now makes the possible unaffordable, affordable, should you wish.

While I am enjoying building the Porsche I am disappointed that I have had to send for missing parts for three different pieces. I find it takes a bit of enjoyment away having to wait for the parts. Maybe my next purchase will be direct will be from LEGO.

very entertaing challenge.
It was a real challenge to build.there are 52 stickers to apply and once applied the Porsche is a very striking model. its a model you cannot rush building but it comes together nicely. a problem with the fastening plugs though as they were a very tight fit indeed and strength with the fingers needed to affix.
this may be the reason why the steering is not functioning the wheels can be manipulated and the steering wheel turned but not together. I cannot dismantle the front end to fully determine the problem.
I was one part short but managed to find a substitute.
