These burners work great. All pros no cons. Burns CD's, DVD's seamlessly. No hiccups. Reads every disk fine, with the exception of scratches. Perfect for the Job, Highly recommended. Really Appreciate It!
Took over a month to finally arrive but when it did installing it was easy and after starting then restarting the computer it showed right up and performs so far just like the old worn out one did. Needed it sooner but having it now it lets dvd/cd reading and burning just great.

Good but noisy.
The drive works well with various types of discs: DVD-R, DVD+R DL, etc. There are no bright logos on the front of the drive which looks nice in my case. The only problem is that it makes a lot of noise when it starts up. GRIND... CLUNK, CLUNK. If you can live with that then it's a good drive.Read full review

Great DVD drive and easy to install and use.
Easy to install and system recognizes it immediately. I have two of these and they both work well. Just make sure you are not getting one too old as the drive belts may be dried out and slip. This is a common problem on all DVD drives.Read full review

Perfect fit DVD RW
Print says sata dvd writer only on unit. So I don't know if it will work with cd's at this time. Came in good shape. perfect fit, wires hooked write up to unit. If it only works with dvd's I will come back to review and say so, but I suspect it will work with both.
It says on the DVD that it does DVD's nothing about CDs and so far I have not gotten it to work with CD's at all. The DVD part works great and the rw re-write works great too but only on DVD's. Good Little DVD drive
Bought this drive to replace the drive in a Dell OptiPlex 780. This little LG drive performs quite well, is quiet, and faster writing than the original drive. It's not the very best DVD writer/burner/reader that I've ever used, however, I am certainly not disappointed! It installed easily, software and drivers found instantly, and performs as well or better than more expensive drives. Can't go wrong with this unit.
