great inexpensive phone. great photos video & music hifi dac. best phone under $300

Awesome phone under $300. buy it now used for under $200. Great for everything. makes great YouTube content. built in microphone & software best of high end phones. better sound recording if you use software than Sony nex & a6000 cameras.

use with camscanner app & great document scanner also. wide angle camera great as well. great DAC too.

think you need to spend at least $350 on chinese made phone to get better & 500 on Samsung or Apple. the LG v30 is a little over $350 used but no removable battery. also think front camera on this better than LG v30.

for under $250 cannot find better phone

Wish it were smaller, but love the available space...

Still adjusting to this phone. I loved my old phone, but it had very minimal space... It was a smaller phone and much more practical for me in size. I am less likely to lose the smaller phone than to try and keep the larger phone close with me on my belt. Value of phone is good so far. Battery life is not bad. Not familiar with the term "small form factor". I'm not really a phone connoisseur. I just like practicality and simplicity. But I do love the larger GB space on this LG phone. There are some nice features that I could not have on my smaller phone, but still adjusting to much of the basic differences of the two. Overall I would give this phone between 3&4 stars. Size of phone is very important to me. Had a very difficult time finding a smaller unlocked phone that is compatible with my phone service, with more space than 16GB, and within a reasonable price range. This was my best option, at the time, for the amount of time I put into it. Read full review

Worth of its cost

It is a pretty good phone although it is a bit bigger in size than I have thought of it. It is functioning pretty good so far as I bought it almost 2 months ago. I like the camera it has, takes pretty clear pictures. Worth of its price. Battary life is awesome if we keep the phone locked mode , charges faster. Finger print power button is awesome . It is faster than an iPhone 6. I would love to have one more of this of its newer version in the future though I am getting used to in it.Read full review

great case

This case is durable, its easy to hold with out slippage and it looks good and well made. I had a speck case before this one, but it didn't have the ridges that this one has, and I was always dropping the other one. Speck is a good case though, so the drops didn't harm my phone although eventually it broke the case. This one is easier to hold on to. I don't foresee dropping it as often as the one without grip, and I know it will protect my phone when i do!Read full review

Unique phone, fantastic value

This has the feel of a premium phone. Fingerprint scanner works great and is super fast. I love the second screen - it's very useful for checking out notifications and quick access to apps. The camera is the best that I've had on a phone. I haven't messed with the manual settings for the camera, but I'm looking forward to it. I like the size of the phone as well. Large, but doesn't feel too unwieldy. Love the removable battery as well. I doubt it's going to see many updates, and there can be a slight lag at times when using it, but overall it's a fantastic value and I love it.Read full review

Great phone for the price, but a bit big.

I've only been using the device for about a month, but its been great so far. It performs all the tasks I've asked of it smoothly and reliably. The battery lasts all day unless you're using it for games, then you're only going to get a few hours. The included charger charges the phone within an hour or less. The camera takes good photos from what I've seen.

I have run across a couple negatives though. I personally don't care for the large size of the phone, a did not realize just how big a 5.7" display is, and for me this phone requires two hands. My thumb cannot reach the top 1/3 of the phone when used in one hand. If you have average sized or smaller hands, beware of this. Additionally, the speaker is on the bottom and you can accidentally block it pretty easily. Lastly, until I did some tinkering in Android's settings, locking the screen was not preventing the phone from opening apps while in my pocket.

Coming back from Windows 8 mobile, Android certainly has more apps, but the actual OS still feels as inconsistent as it did three years ago.

lg v20

Lg v20 has an awesome camera. It has a lot of functionality. The battery however sucks. It will last all day if it is in your pocket, but if you use is for a game or Facebook it will die pretty fast. if the batty lasted longer it would be the perfect phone.Read full review

LG V20 Is a Bargain, and it ROCKS

I transitioned from the Motorola Pure 1575 to the LG V20 H910. Let me tell you, having the ability to change out the battery, having a duel display, having the impending upgrade to Android 8 on the way, and having a solid LG product make this all worth every penny. In addition, the manual camera mode, and the ability to create folders at will like iOS devices further reinforces my liking for this handset. Oh, don't let me forget the 64gb of space and the ability to expand it more via micro SD. You cannot go wrong with this phone at the current price points below $180. Read full review

Best phone I've ever owned

Price was great, not a scratch on it, appeared brand new. Battery is fine, just don't install FB and it will last all day. I've owned several LG phones and this is the best yet. It's very fast and I love the camera(s). Video is awesome, and the sound, wow, this records audio at a whole different level. I have not messed around with the HiFi quad dac playback, that's next. I also don't have the signal loss I used to. The screen is excellent. I highly recommend this phone.Read full review

Dream Mobile Device! Photo & Audio features/capabilities of Dreams! Abundance of RAM.

It's the phone I've been looking at for over a year now, waiting for my Samsung GS4 to fail. The perfect addition to my tool-set w/ a camera of dreams! The battery life isn't an issue for me compared to average consumers usage, despite others complaints. Disable features & radios when they are not needed (no need to use 4G+/- when at home where Wi-Fi is available). ALWAYS good to see IR Blasters on mobile phones - EXTREMELY handy. My reason for not deciding on acquiring the V30, is that I prefer the dedicated 'second screen' of the v20 rather than a software menu to represent the 'second screen'. Using software for that feature kind of defeats the purpose it was originally intended for. Using the camera application on the V20 is a prime example.Read full review
