Excellent quality and price - USB 3.0 3.5" Hard Drive Enclosure
I received this product after spending very little money on what I thought would be a tacky, cheap unit that would be a bonus if it lasted a few months and trips.
I have to say, I was shocked when I felt the quality and thickness of the plastic, which had a very brushed and tactile feel to it. It was great quality and thick enough to absorb most general knocks and bumps.
The USB 3.0 lead was (for the total cost) good, strong quality and was more than able to handle the extra data speed of the files I tested on it (both large and small).
I was NOT expecting this to be a real USB 3.0 unit, as it was a lot cheaper that some of the others I had seen and almost purchased. This shocked me, and I am very pleased that I chose this unit, and would recommend this for anyone who is looking for the real thing at a very good price.

Surprisingly good quality for the prce
Arrived well packed but with no retail packaging. Not a problem as this keeps the costs down. The two halves of the case are made of good quality hard plastic that fits together snuggly. Takes literally seconds to open it up and fit an HDD or SSD. After plugging into the computer takes a few more seconds for the drive to get recognised and then it's ready for use. Cheap, simple, effective
A cheap and simple solution to turn a bare 2.5" drive into a USB3 external drive. No tools required, just unclip the two halves of the plastic case, attach the PCB to the drive contacts, insert the drive and clip the case back together. Windows 10 instantly recognised the drive. The case feels solid and has an attractive brushed finish. At this price, what's not to like?
