Best Genesis Album

I was first introduced to this album in 1997 by a girlfriend who was too young to have been introduced to it by organic discovery. She passed it on to me by way of cassette, and I loved it so much that I bought it at a Barnes And Nobles on CD. I cannot remember what I did with it . . . probably lent it to a friend and never got it back, or sold with many other CD's at the Warehouse before they went defunct. Unsure of it, I have sought this album EVERYWHERE and have been reticent to pay over a hundred bucks for it to greedy people who wanna get rich on ebay. I did however, have no problem paying thirty dollars for it on newly printed VINYL. E-X-C-U-I-S-I-T-E.

Opening the album gatefold, one sees lyrics from the album sprawled all over the inside, starting on the left and ending on the right, with the classic album photos scattered and interrupting the lyrics, throughout. The vinyl is 180 gram, and sounds great for mono-stereo. It really is great to be hearing Cuckoo Coccoon on vinyl and it feels right. The other songs bring a very nostalgic feel to me, as I sit here and write this review.

Out of all the albums on vinyl that I've tracked down here on ebay (TFF's Songs From The Big Chair-Seeds Of Love -Elemental, Joan Jett's The Album and I Love Rock 'N Roll, The Cure's Disintegration, Winds Of Change aka Metamorphoses), this album is the BEST buy that I have made overall.
