Leather Stropping Hone

When a knife becomes dull it isn't normally because the edge wears away - the edge actually rolls over. Really. When you sharpen the blade it mostly re-bends the edge to it's original position, and when you use the leather hone it straightens the edge to it's original position without removing any metal. I touch up the edges on my knife daily, without the worry of wearing out, or deforming, the blade AND it's always hair popping sharp. I really appreciate this tool.

Nice strop

I bought this in order to keep the angle of the strop the same as the stones. It works well. I use a 3000 grit rouge on the strop and obtain a mirror finish on the edge. You can shave with my pocket knife!Read full review
