Live Zepp never sounded so good

It's an amazing gig from an amazing band and now with an amazing sound and picture due to the latest remaster onto bluray. The extra's on the disc are ok, but not great and I've always felt that this would have been better as a straight gig recording, without the strange dream sequences that were very cool at the time, but now seem dated. But honestly, put that to one side, as it's hard to think of a better gig to be able to go back in time to watch and this is as close to that as anyone can get.

Led Zeppelin argubaley the best rock band in the world for me.I saw them at Knebworth on 4th of August 1979 and this Blueray "THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME" is the next best thing to seeing them live.Anyone who's never heard or seen Led Zeppelin then this dvd will show them what a super rock group they were.My advise is listen to some of their music and then decide if you like them or not.I could go on and on and on talking about them,but i won't.I hope they rerelease it in 3D now that would be something to look foward to.So come on people go out grab yourself a Led Zeppelin cd and start "ROCKING"Read full review...

Possibly the most anticipated music related disc to be released on the blu-ray format. The sound quality throughout is impeccable; and despite occasional blemishes in the film and fuzziness (due to the original sources age) this is a great re-release and recommended to any Zeppelin fans who want to add the definitive version of 'The Song Remains The Same' to their collection.Read full review...

The best of the best vintage Rock!!!!

I brought this blu ray for my 9 year old guitar mad daughter as she wanted to see what jimmy page played like live.I have seen this film before when i was younger but i really didnt get what the fuss was about with Led Zeppelin,,,till now,,forget the dream/fantasy bit,,enjoy the live performance! Led Zep show how to play live,top of the game drums,guitar,bass & the fantastic vocal performance of Plant,you cant really ask for more.This is vintage rock at its very best.(please note that is an old movie so dont expect full on hd,pirotechnics ect) Just expect great music at the top of the vintage rock ladder!!! a must for any Zep fan!!Read full review...
