Easy to use and great screen size
Needed a factory reset in order to set up, but after that it was plain sailing.
Bought for my 75 year old mother to keep in touch during self isolation - she is finding it very easy to use for video calls and she really appreciates the large screen size.
After 2 days of using the Smart Display for video calls, she was so confident that she is now using it to play music using Spotify.

It's not a Google product ...
... and it shows. For an example, you cannot connect a bluetooth speaker to it, like you can with other Google Home products. Big fail. Another thing is quite simply the stability - it does have its own quirks and requires ocasional reboot. Not recommended. Will replace mine with a Google Hub.Read full review

Dynamite comes in small packages
The design isn't as aesthetically pleasing as the Google Home Hub but it's for a reason. The speaker's on this device are loud and punchy, they easily fill up the room. The build quality is solid and fit for purpose.
The bezels are on the large side and the aspect ratio of the screens means that most content is cropped or adds more black bars.
The microphone is responsive and good enough that it can hear you from across the room. As for the software; If you're in the Google eco system, this will be familiar.Read full review
