Leupold VX-1 2-7x33 Rifle Scope - 113863

Great value, great scope.

This is the fifth firearm that I have topped with a Leupold scope. I bought the VX 1 rather than the usual VX 11 that I usually purchase. The firearm that I topped is a short range woods rifle and I felt I could save some money for this rifle and it's intended use. I have found the scope to be outstanding in every regard and even better than I needed for it's intended use. Thanks Leupold for building quality into every line of scope you sell. I recently sent back a Leupold scope I purchased in 1983 for some repair work. To my delight and amazement they sent back a brand new scope in it's place, no questions asked! not what i thought it would be

Same clarity as my bushnell banner but triple the price and the parallax is far more noticeable on this leupold. After comparing to several of my other scopes, this scope's parallax is identical to my 30$ tasco pronghorn,,,, and this leupold is not the rimfire version. As far the scope caps,,, just chunk em and buy some more. Now as far as durability,, I've mounted more scopes than i care to admit and know full well the consequences of over tightening which is why i simply snug using light finger pressure with the SHORT end of the torx wrench. After doing just as Ive done on everything from a 20$ scope to a 700$ scope, this one's tube distorted and prevented the power adjustment from functioning.
