great for removing stains on oak and probably other woods too but i can only speak to the oak

i just used it on a old oak box with black stains from water and iron and i was amazed how well it worked, one application and checked back 30 mins later and the stains were totally gone. it did slightly lighten the wood around the stain however but this was only slightly and i figured this was probably just bleaching the ingrained dirt not the wood itself Read full review

ok, but not great results

Didn't work great on water damaged oak, lightened it slightly but not much after several attempts. (simple bleach worked as good or better)

Unfortunately did not have any effect on my wood, tried a couple of coats but no difference, to be fair it could be the wood was too dark eg mahogany coloured.
