What happened to the "Country" Brad Paisley?

I first heard a Brad Paisley song at the Ernest Tubb record shop in Nashville, Tennessee and said to my wife that this guy was the real deal. His first few albums proved me right, but the last few seem as if he's gone more toward entertaining the "Bro-Country" crowd than real country music lovers. The DVD shows him more on the pop side, running around on stage too much & spending too much time taking "selfies" and pictures with the audience. He's still a great guitar player and singer, but I just have a hard time getting into his newer music and the presentation of it. Please get back to your roots Brad. Your record sales show that your losing your core audience of real country music lovers! Flashy loud music and stage show don't quite do it for me.Read full review
