Good value. Wide HT40 150N speed. Router accepts 3rd party firwmare DD-WRT.

Power receptacle jack on rear is loose and sometimes router loses power, but if I organize the power cable and ethernet cables then the power is good and constant. Otherwise everything is good. Wifi connection is quite good enough for 2 to 3 megabytes download speed. I managed to load DD-WRT v3.0-r36104 firmware into the router. OpenWrt firmware may also be possible. Old WiFi Technology

Unfortunately, very slow WiFi speeds. LAN is fine, but it you want fast WiFi with good range, definitely pass on this older model router.

small and powerful

This unit is small enough to fit on shelf and not be in the way like some units with external antennas. I thought the range would be limited because the antenna is internal but that is not the case. I works just fine all over my house which is why I purchased it. I use all four ports on a 18mbs router and have no problem with speed even with two laptops, desktop, and Roku TV running off from, it. My only router choice

My older Linksys E900 of 6 years, still working but with the all technical updates and newer equipment I had to go bigger & better. In which I found this one. Stronger in range, no drop connections is a big plus.

Works great for our wifi

I am very happy with this product. It was exactly what I was looking for. I looked to order this product from Walmart and it was a mess. They couldn't get it shipped to me in time, long story short..I came to eBay and found the exact product for about $15 dollars cheaper. We use Hughes Net for our internet, and this product works perfect! We have strong signal and haven't had any issues. Good Product But Set Up Instructions Would Be Helpful

At the moment, I am very happy with this router. Had some problems at first with set up because my laptop doesn't have a CD player. The router only comes with a CD for instructional set up and no written instructions. So if you don't have a CD reader you will have to go to the linksys support website, put in your model number, and download the quick set up firmware. Once I got thru this process, everything was smooth sailing! As a recommendation, would be nice to include written set up instructions as well as the CD.Read full review
