I’ve used a Little Giant Pond Pump for an ornamental Pond Off our Deck for several summers of non stop service. I have finally had to purchase a replacement pump and replaced it with another Little Giant Pump. After speaking with their tech support, I found that if I had restricted the flow of the pump, rather than run it full flow, I could have gotten several more seasons out of it. Great pump, only problem is they only last one to two years and stop working.

Little Giant needs to upgrade the quality of materials the motor is made of as they just don't last. the design of the pump and how it works is great, but it is just not durable. I have been replacing little pumps in a crystal clear fountain every year or two for the past twenty or more years. I like the pump when it is working, but it is a major problem to have to replace it as often as I have.

Maybe an executive at Little Giant will read this review and do something about improving the durability and operational longevity or their pumps. who really caresRead full review
