Re-living my youth

Having been a strong fan of the Jam back in the '70's & 80's and lost the cassette recording of their concert broadcast on the BBC, I really wanted to hear them live again & be able to transfer the music to my i-pod. So obtaining a copy of Live Jam seemed the best way to get in touch with the real energy of the group, which is absent from the studio recordings. I have not been disappointed - the CD, together with 'The Complete Jam' DVD allows me to remember my teenage years and prove to my two teenage sons that quality music with attitude does exist.Read full review...

I am a Jam freak & have the lot but this escaped me. The Jam Ready Steady Gone is a bit better than this in my opinion, it bites more with Weller getting into the crowd. This is the great hits Live, it does not beat RSG but is still a good addition to the Jam collection ....Read full review...

The Jam were the first band I saw live at the tender age of 13 so I just had to have this live album to be able to bring that sound back into my living room.
