Saves the day

Well made and easy to use. Has all the main stream types catered for, a good product in a battery heavy home.

User un-friendly with very slow charging.

The product only has a red LED to indicate the battery is inserted correctly.
There is no indication to indicate the cell is fully charged.
When the cell is fully charged the red LED is still illuminated.
The battery charging for a C or D cell is extremely slow e.g. approx 1 day for a full charge.
I found it necessary to measure the cell volts with a multimeter to determine state of charge.
The product should incorporate indication of a fully charged cell.
The Red LED should extinguish when the cell is fully charged.

Sturdy but Slow

It does the job but takes a rather long time and there is no feature to let you know when the batteries are fully charged or whether they are no longer chargeable. It is however really low priced so probably that is the reason those features are lacking.Read full review...
