Quick to install useful attic light for occasional use.
A well made item which is not oppressively powerful when mounted on a garage roof beam at a height of about 8 to 9 feet, but which spreads a convenient light field over a wide area.
The three D alkaline batteries should last out the summer with intermittent use. Batteries can deplete rapidly when exposed to winter temperatures. We shall wait and see.Read full review

Looks good now but shame about what happened
When I fitted the light everything looked fine , but when I pulled the cord to turn it on the whole thing dropped down, it was fitted correctly so I had to get some tape and make some repairs, please make the device more secure it's not rocket science Read full review

Excellent pull switch bright light with long, long cord
Excellent pull switch light with long, long cord so can be used in a loft. Nice bright light.
We needed it for use in a new metal shed with no windows.
Aware of warnings from other reviewers that the weight of the batteries that rest at the front of the unit (instead of the back which would be far better) pull the device apart, we used cable ties to secure. Yes, it will be a bit of a bind having to cut through them when we need to change batteries/install another cable tie . . ..
However, we are really pleased with the Loftleg LED Loft Light. So much so that we bought another to install at the back of the shed. Little did we realise that one would have been sufficient cos the light is really strong and bright.

Easy to install, nice and bright accessory
This is one of the best things little house accessories I have ever bought. I know it's designed for lofts but we have a really dark area under the stairs which is off of our utility room. I could not be bothered of going to the expense of running another mains light and switch in so turned to this as a solution. I've used cheap and cheerful stick on LED lights before and basically they are a waste of time in comparison. This is 35 Lumen's which is more than enough and i'd say comparable to something like a 60 watt bulb, certainly in this enclosed area. So two screws, three batteries,15 minutes insulation time and bingo job done. Huge long on / off cord which you'd need if it was installed in your loft and i think it would be plenty bright up there too! Great product and we are very pleased with it.Read full review
