Compact Mico HIFI

Purchased this model of HI-FI for use in Summer House. For this purpose and for relatively small room, sound output is very good. Easy to operate because it's a simplistic design so, stress free.
Don't expect concert hall audio quality and to be honest at the price would not expect it. Thus, for small room it will be just the job. Dab radio excellent and fortunately get good reception. Earphone connection is added bonus.

Remote Problems

I bought this for the DAB radio/CD combination, and am highly satisfied with both. However, I also bought it because it has a remote control unit. This is a disaster. Unless I am less than a metre from the unit the remote will only work the "Standby" control (and I have replaced the battery). Even from close range the remote either does not work some functions, or is less than intuitive to use. I sense that frustrated pushing of the buttons will result in a quick death of the remote. I would have rated the unit higher, except that the remote is not up to standard.Read full review
