Spend time setting up

This is a good quality wheel/pedals - a very solid feel to it (it's heavy!) and nice look. The use of real leather and metal parts adds to the realism. It's easy to connect although all the leads are a bit of a pain, especially if you have the gear shifter too.
It does need to be clamped to something, it cannot just be rested on your lap. I have mine on a piece of board but a proper gaming wheel stand would be better.
The main thing is getting it set up properly. There have been a lot of reviews/posts about the brake pedal not being effective, but you just need to go into the Advanced Controls and spend some time playing with the settings. Same with the feedback amounts etc.
To be honest I was close to returning my wheel after using it with the stock settings, I was very disappointed at first. But after working out the settings it is so much better and very realistic indeed.
I use mine mainly with Forza Horizon 3 and it really does make the game about as real as a driving game can get.

mid range steering wheel

mid range, a little over priced, but better than the tmx that i had, easy to set up and great fun, i found the steering wheel a little small, would be even better if it had a headphone jack

A great wheel for the money, but.....

The wheel itself is great, well built, very sturdy and made of quality materials.
However, after installing the drivers and software direct from Logitech it became rather confusing about the settings.
It's not a simple plug and play device. You've got profiles with settings for each of your games WITHIN the Logitech software and then you've got the ingame settings to tweak. It took me days of tweaking and changing settings in both the Logitech software and within each game I played and it still didn't feel right.
After some research I found the best way to set it up is to delete all profiles in the Logitech software except the default profile.
Set the default profile as "persistent" then go in to your games and tweak the settings there and ignore the Logitech software completely from then on. Spend a bit of time in each of your games getting the wheel to feel right and you'll be fine.
Other than that, I think the wheel is great. I want to be in it every chance I get. It adds a real feel to a lot of games such as eurotruck, Grid, Forza, project cars etc.
I do recommend this wheel but I wish the set-up process was a bit simpler.

I give it 8 out of 10.

Better than expected

Very nice feel, strong, well thought. This is my first steering wheel after a long time, and I'm truly amazed about the progress and how good value it is. I was also considering Thrustmaster TS500, which is quite a bit more expensive, and I'm glad I went with this one. I'm sure that there are (much) better wheels than this, but even this one is quite nice.Read full review...

Quality with some minor issues

Good quality in general, some design choices make the gamer's life difficult, for example the cable entries in the back of the wheel, are cumbersome to plug-in/out since they are under the wheel. That makes it difficult to attach and remove from a desk if you want to occasionally do other things rather than play.Read full review...

Great product and great fun.

Never had a wheel before, but been after one for years.
Came across the logitech one and seems to have great reviews so gave it a go.
The brake pedal is half spring then half rubber stopper which can be too much and end up pushing the pedals away, but just adjusted the end limits down to 65% and all is great.
Force feedback works well, nice solid bit of kit to use and is very fun. Did need to buy a 2m USB extension to reach my xbox as the cable is only 1.8m, half of which you'll use just getting down to the floor.

Superb Wheel at a good price

This item was used but came in great condition, the wheel is superb for using on games like Project Cars 2 and Forza, the maount of wires can be a pain and where to put the wheel without having to remove all the wires. But worth it.Read full review...
