Needs one more Thumb button
I bought this mouse for solely for the dual connectivity. My 2-in-1 has limited USB ports but it has bluetooth and this mouse worked straight out of the box. I was not ready to commit to having a bluetooth only mouse that I could not carry over to a new computer or use as a back up on another machine yet. However I'm afraid I will lose the nano unifying dongle since I don't use it. There is no internal storage for it in the mouse.
I picked Logitech because I have been using the Performance MX for 3-4 years now and I absolutely love it. I expect to love the MX Anywhere 2 just as much. However I am so use to the zoom button (thumb side under the back/forward) on my Performance being remapped to the ctrl key that it has become the biggest pet peeve about the Anywhere 2. I don't find this mouse very ergonomic when compared with my Performance and it also feels a lot lighter. How ever given that this mouse is travel mouse it's size and shape and weight at perfect.
My only negatives are because I'm use to using a Cadillac for a mouse (lush creature comforts and buttons galore). The "negatives" of this mouse far outweigh the negatives of the @#$^$%&@#$% touch pad on my laptop. In the end it requires some getting use to. Firm grip, smooth movement, great features
What I like most about this mouse is its ergonomic design. I can feel a firm grip and glide the mouse efforlessly on any surface. As a refurbished item, I hardly noticed any scratch mark. It just feels like brand new. It can pair with up to 3 bluetooth host devices and you can switch between them easily with a touch of a button, and it just works exactly as described.
My only issue is with the battery life, although it says battery may last up to 2 months, max I have used is 5 days in a single charge; even after switching it off when not being used. Perhaps that is because the item is refurbished and the battery has worn out.Read full review

Upgrading from Anywhere 1
I have two of the previous model (Anywhere 1) and love the smooth scrolling, weight, and battery. I wanted to go Bluetooth to reduce dongle usage and looked for a refurbished Anywhere 2. As an FYI, I bought both Anywhere 1 models as refurbs and the Anywhere 2 as a refurb and all have operated flawlessly and have been in pristine condition.
The Bluetooth functionality is sufficient. I don't have connection "problems," I just have to get used to how Bluetooth isn't always ON, and when my laptop wakes up I have to give it a second to connect. However, I don't think it reduces my productivity as I can multitask around it, losing no time waiting around.
Charging is easy and convenient, working with any micro-USB. I'm glad I upgraded.Read full review

Bluetooth/Wireless mouse

My Second One
This is the second MX Anywhere 2 Wireless Mouse that I have purchased. The first one I bought in a store after trying out every kind they had. I didn't choose it for its special features really, rather for its nice shape and subtle click. It fits my slimmer hand and doesn't tire it out. That first one served me for years, but then maybe it got worn out because it got to double clicking all the time. This caused a lot of weird things to happen, so I finally decided that I needed a new mouse. I didn't want to try another kind though, even the upgrade for this one, because I didn't know if it'd be harder on my hand. So I got another MX Anywhere 2 again, and it works fine!
