Professional reviews were all excellent and it meets expectations!

Despite being refurbished, it looks and acts like new. Using it for delivering online workshops means that my image is clear and the microphone also works clearly. Set-up ... what set-up? I just plugged it in and it worked! My only criticism is that the image is so clear that I sometimes have to use make-up to hide late-night blemishes, etc. And yes, I am that vain!Read full review...

Sharp image, but not good in low light

The Carl Zeiss lens produces an excellent sharp image in good light. The only issue is, in low light, movement results in a blurred image. The colour of the image is good in good and poor light.

Great wee bit of kit

Great camera, good image, the microphone works well and it is easy to install set up and use. The stand for sitting it on a screen works well and is easy to use.

Great webcam

Arrived promptly, just plug in and use. Picture quality is great. I did download the logitech software to allow more detailed adjustments of the camera through the settings.

When launched, this was the webcam all the others had to beat!

When Logitech first launched the Pro 9000 it set a standard others had to chase. Even today it can hold its own. I bought one afrer reading professional reviews and was impressed from the outset. Image quality is crisp and colour rendering is extremely accurate.

Low light sensitivity is good enough to turn off the 'true light' function. Many webcams can boost sensitivity to make up for poorly lit subjects, but this trades off against frame rate and excessive motion blur is the result. Easily avoided with the Pro 9000.

The integrated stand is really versatile, allowing the camera to rest on top of any monitor or TV. It also boasts auto focus and face follow. Logitech's camera software is also excellent.

The only negative, which is no deal-breaker, is native resolution is 4 x 3. So you won't get full HD on a wide-screen monitor. 1600 x 900 is still respectable though. When I bought my Dell XPS 17, it came with an integrated HD webcam, so I sold my Pro 9000. Big mistake! Even in good light it gave terrible motion blur, so when I saw a used one on here going for £28 I snapped it up.

The webcam sits atop my 42" TV, which now doubles as my monitor. Even at full screen, image quality and definition is very good indeed. In today's market it holds its own, so at under £30 its a real bargain!
