Useful little units

I bought these to substitute for the speaker in a small laptop that I own, as I use this laptop linked to a monitor to, occasionally, watch catch-up TV, and the internal speaker isn't very powerful. These boost the output to a more acceptable level. They small and fit easily with the set-up. However, the output isn't really enough to watch the monitor from across the room, but this is more likely a fault of the Laptop that these speakers, as they only amplify whatever output is produced by the laptop.Read full review

Good sound reproduction from my TV now

I needed external speakers for my new digital TV which had dreadful sound reproduction compared to my old analogue set. I put up with the tinny sound for a while then realised that external speakers could be the answer. I have Logitech speakers connected to my PC so tried them with the TV, much better sound! I'm finding listening through the laptop without the speakers is the same sound volume and quality - put the speakers in and the sound comes through those instead that's all. I was looking to turn the volume up some. Disappointed to say the least. A waste of money.Read full review
