I like it. Gives a good image, although not fantastic. Very easy to set up, just need to plug it in. Easy to place on All-In-One computer. Audio is also good.

Basic cam, worth the modest price.

Plug-and-play set-up. Image quality is...OK. Certainly better than the 640x480 cam we used to have, but as good as a common cel phone cam. Good enough for current work needs. Put your face on the web, in real time? Yeah, this'll do it. I was early in relating to web video, and when it turned out to be a disappointment I waited a long time to upgrade. Well, Logitech got it right! Here's an economical and compact unit that does what you want it to do, reliably and with no maintenance or adjustments required. Its USB connection assures plug'n'play simplicity, and its audio and video capabilities are SO superior to the webcam I got several years ago, when the technology was new and unrefined!

The one glitch in the system, for me, was the mounting. The unit comes with a versatile articulated clamp/stand system that would serve well for standing the webcam (with integrated microphone) on a level surface, or would probably work well for hanging on the top of a flatscreen monitor. My own application was on an older laptop, and the design required a bit of inventive adaptation on my part. I whittled a piece of styrofoam from packing material into a block about an inch thick, and it's perfect!

The Logitech C270 has resolution and cycling so superior to my earlier system that it's like a whole new realm! It was easy to install and test, it's simple and reliable, and it does everything it's intended to do. I'm totally pleased.Read full review...

I like my new C270!

I like this Web Cam for three major reasons: (1. I'm bald and with the previous Logitech C560 (more expensive), if I looked down, it would see the top of my head and change my coloring to red. This less expensive model doesn't do that. I remain about the right coloring. (2. This less expensive model is fixed focus as opposed to auto-focus. This focus works VERY well, fixed or not. (3. This less expensive model has a narrower field of view, 60 degrees I think. The other more expensive model was 76 degrees. With the 270, I don't have to fuss around as much to keep things out of the picture. I'm very pleased with this Cam.Read full review...

Good camera, bad design

This camera has good video and audio features but the way it attaches to the computer leaves a lot to be desired. Instead of clipping on, it just sort of balances on it.
