Very good but not perfect

The Harmony is a very good remote control system which is easy to set up and use. As well as the remote you can use an app on your mobile phone although I don't use that very often.

Because the system is made to be simple it lacks a few controls so I find I have to dig out the original remote from time to time and has a few odd things such as turning off units when you switch to another so for example you are watching a DVD and turn over to watch the news on the TV and the Harmony powers down the DVD player.

Does not work very good with Apple TV4

I think this is a nice remote for most devices. However for Apple TV it can't do the drop down menu you get when you swipe down on the Apple TV remote touch pad that can be used to select subtitles, audi language etc. Subtitles are important to me so I find that to be a serious product limitation. Good but not perfect.

Great product for anyone with multiple remote controls. I have a Home Cinema set up with numerous streaming devices, Dolby Atmos and home automation and the amount of controllers needed to use side by side was getting out of hand. This helps solve that.
It's not always a perfect solution though as a lot of devices now are including voice control that requires you to use the mics in the original remote unit and this doesn't have a mic built in so cannot replicate those functions. If you use voice control a lot then this is probably not the right product for you.
If Logitech bring out a version with a built in mic that can replicate the voice control functions of TV's and streaming boxes with Googles Assistant and/or Alexa built in then I'd buy it straight away.Read full review

Harmony elite and hub

I have been using harmony remotes to control my account setup for 10 years and wife and family had no issue using it. Now upgraded my set up with Sonos and several different sources all fed thru a HD Base matrix switch to remove all the source devices to a remote location. No more wires in the living room. The hub is simple to program using the iPhone app and is an improvement on the previous pc based app. Works flawlessly with it, Bluetooth and WiFi connections. Very pleased and highly recommend. Harmony configuratio

So easy to get up and running considering my amp and TV are nearly 10 years old (Onkyu and Pioneer).

I wanted to switch on my amp, SkyQ box and TV together as one activity. Once I'd entered the product ID's, the app appeared to recognise which device performed which function so I didn't need to do any more other than accept the proposed configuration and that was it!

I then linked to Alexa with the voice command "Alexa, switch on the TV" and now I don't even move my fingers and it doesn't matter if someone else is sitting on the remote :-)Read full review

Great after setting up.

Good pice of kit once set up, had a few problems with linking it to Alexa. Have found a couple of times remote loses contact with the hub and putting it into fix mode doesn't work. Have to put remote back on base and after a while it sorts itself out.
