Decent keyboard, but definitely not backlit

I purchased this keyboard thinking that it was going to be everything I wanted - a backlit, full sized keyboard for an awesome price. Well, it's only part of what I wanted.
The keyboard itself is fine quality and everything seems to work, but I'm not sure I would have made this purchase had I known it wasn't backlit. Read full review

Feature rich and comfortable Keyboard and Mouse combo

The Logitech MK520 combo has a OEM feel too it, similar to those found on old HP machines.

I would describe the craftsmanship of the product as a mid range quality, the plastic creeks on some areas but it still feels solid, solid enough to surpass the low quality Logitech versions.

The keys are no cherry MX by any means but the "incurve" keys are pretty nice, enough to feel conformable when typing.

I own a Logitech G602 gaming mouse, and this mouse feels precise enough for everyday use, sure, these two mouses are from a different branch, and the M310 (MK520 bundle mouse) will never be a G602, but it is enough to make me feel comfortable, would still use the G602 for gaming and precise photoshop works, but by no means i say the M310 is a bad mouse, and the full size mouse is a plus in wireless mouses.

To sum it up:
1. It is a beautiful keyboard and mouse combo.
2. Feels sturdy enough.
3. Feature rich (key bindings similar to laptops FN+Function keys, as well as special music buttons).
4. Full size mouse.
5. Price is fair according to combo specification.

I would highly recommend this combo to anyone who wants to remove wire clutter from their computer environment and use it in primary office setups, i would also suggest to invest in something more expensive if looking for gaming and/or precision works.

Nice Wireless Keyboard

I like this keyboard for a couple of reasons. First, the keys have a nice feel. Second, I like the number pad on the side. Third, I like the instant access keys for things like the calculator function.

The keyboard and mouse have convenient on/off switches so it's easy to shut down the devices when not in use to save battery life.

The keyboard and mouse worked with my Toshiba laptop (Windows 10) without any steps needed other than plugging in the Bluetooth dongle and turning on the keyboard and mouse.

This is a nice addition to my home office.

Lose the wires

I really like the action of the keys on the wireless keyboard. The wireless mouse is lighter than I'm used to but works well. I had to use the included instructions to download and install the drivers for use on my Windows computer, but my Mac Mini recognized the devices automatically (I swap the USB receiver between the two machines). My only complaint is that I had another one of these keyboards (same model) at work and the on-off switch broke after a month of use, probably just a lemon. The one I have now works fine.Read full review

Most Simple & Versatile Wireless System

One tiny transceiver plugged into one USB port on your computer will hook you up to a Logitech wireless mouse & keyboard, and more than one of each if you want to transport the computer somewhere else and keep another mouse & keyboard set there. And probably other Logitech devices as well, that I haven't used yet. They work flawlessly, and are very easy on the batteries.Read full review

Not as expected

The shift key was inop. It couldn't have been "fully tested" as claimed. It didn't matter a lot because I only replace them because of the letter markings rubbing off. I just used the few keys to replace my worn ones. Wasn't worth the hassle of returning the keyboard.Read full review

Lightweight and compact--great footprint

The combo was selected to minimize use of USB ports by means of the unifying receiver. This particular model of keyboard is advantageous because it uses AA cells instead of the less enduring AAA cell; also, mouse and keyboard batteries are the same type. The optical mouse requires a variegated surface on which to work--we traded out our fabric-covered mousepad for a ceramic tile. We acquired this unit to replace a previous model of Logitech keyboard which failed after a year and a half. We hope for better luck and longer life from this model. Read full review

Brand New and Good Value

Product was delivered within three days of ordering. Very satisfied with the proper functioning of both the keyboard and the mouse. Comes with batteries installed. Just pull the plastic tabs that protrude from the battery compartments to activate the batteries.Read full review

The reviews sold me & now I see why...

I wasn't expecting to be this happy over a new keyboard & mouse, but I am. I work online for a living and maybe I'm a bit naive but I've ALWAYS preferred wires. There's a natural trust that comes with things that plug in. And I was also worried that the keyboard/mouse wouldn't be responsive or fast enough, or I'd get delays.... boy was I wrong.

I'm sitting about 6 ft from my laptop right now laying on my back in the most comfortable position I've ever been in. And not once has there been a delay for any character on the keyboard it all shows up the second your fingers touch the keys.

No more bending over, readjusting my computer or reseating 100 times to get comfortable, no more tripping over wires, I can throw the keyboard on the couch to the left or right, or behind me... can sit it right on my lap and forget its there... I can run to the kitchen or bathroom without untangling anything or watching my feet to make sure they don't hit wires.... there's a lot of small benefits that come with wireless which you may not fully appreciate till you just buy a set like I did.

Also, I read a review about someone saying how this is good for productivity and thought "that person must be lazy" but they were spot on I already see a change in my workflow that I like.

Additional notes: I wanted to buy batteries yesterday but couldn't find the size in the listing, you will need 1 AA (mouse) and 2 AAA (keyboard). Thats it!
