A glowing success !

After using heavy clunky watches for some time this is a delightfully light watch to wear with a clear numbered dial. The strap although feeling flimsy is strong enough and comfortable to wear. What makes it a different watch to many is the Lumbrite dial face which really does glow in poor light. It will in fact glow through the night providing it is exposed in the day. Hiding under a cuff will not charge it fully and the glow will not continue through the night.

A really nice field watch,

The lumibrite lume that encompasses the whole dial is something unique and I thoroughly enjoy it. Very light and form fits my 7.5' wrist. The matt bead blasted finish makes for a handsome watch. The only issue is that the seconds hand missing the mark by a tad on a quarter of the watch, that's me being picky, but if that doesn't bother You then this is a super nice watch. Go get one!!! Best luminous dial watch at any price.

I bought the previous model to this at Walmart about 20 years ago for just over $20. Loved the lumiglow dial that stayed bright all night. That model had a plated case and no stem guard.

Lorus stopped selling in the USA. They upgraded to a stainless steel case and a stem guard. Price went to about $40. Could only buy from UK on ebay.

Bought one of the new ones. Movement seems to be same as old model. Still a great luminous dial watch that is completely waterproof, has day and date, and batteries last .

Just make sure you buy the Lenmar battery (SR920SW) at 45 mah instead of the 371 batteries that have on 30 or 35 mah rating.

I have looked hard and there is no watch that has all of thefeatures of this at any price. I hope Lorus keeps making them.Read full review...

Lightweight and simple design

I've been following the watch for a long time. I love the white / yellow background which glows in the dark. The strap is very silky-smooth and I can swim with it.
