Successful retelling of the original. Better, even.

This is a very well-written series. Tension builds on top of tension to "raise the stakes" and it's a relief when the resolution occurs. Character behavior is understood more fully with short flashbacks. This is definitely not the original robot. It is protective and helpful to Will, but there is a dangerous, menacing quality to it. I bought this for my grandson's birthday. His mom says he has watched it over and over. Great gift for younger kids. Not much language and absolutely no adult scenes in it. I would like to know when season 2 is available for purchase, though.
