5/5, cannot recommend enough.

One of the definitive rap albums. Must-buy for fans of good music. The music is very minimalistic with mainly drums and bass, with subtle sampling, and occasional keyboards and electric guitar.
r>The lyrics, while not comparable to Pink Floyd or Jethro Tull, are miles above most rap albums, portraying urban issues, black intellectualism, and relationships, as well as devotion to music.

The production value is decent, and sometimes the album leaves you wanting more, but all in all, it comes together to form a solid body of work.Read full review...

a tribe called quest

It's a beautiful album that is just such a breath of fresh air compared to the hip hop nowadays. I can't believe I haven't listened to this band before now

CLASSIC

Hip-hop at its highest quality. I so miss these times in music where the artist considered their album as a body of work instead of a list of singles

Classic

Excellent product! ATCQ is always a good choice. It's a classic from the golden era. I would recommend it for everyone, not only this album, but all of them. the whole discography.
