I have two other manufacture's products like this and this one is by far the best. It may not have some of the rarely used features but it is very easily programmed and from my point of view the fact that is specified to 3.12 Kilowatts means that I can use a 3 Kilowatt fan heater and have it come on and off during the Economy 7 hours period during the night thus allowing me to keep my room warm at a much reduced cost. I believe this is old stock as I went to website and this particular product wasn't listed.
It did work if you can understand how to programme it. I've previously programmed two plug timers before and the boiler programme all three of which have 24 7 variables so I have had previous experience.
My husband who is a precision tool maker and head of his department couldn't understand it nor a few of his colleagues. I'm very disappointed.Read full review...

Simple to set up and reliable in use
Timer is really easy to use with a clear display - have to be careful when setting times not to overrun on the minutes as there's no 'down' setting, but that's typical for clock setting
Only let down slightly for me as the raised display section means you can't use power-supply plugs which extend upwards (which of course - was what I had...)
It is clear on the images that the display is raised, but I hadn't realised how much.
Fine with normal plugs and power supplies that extend downwards

Excellent timer
I spent quite some time researching the best timer for my needs and finally came across this one. It is functionally excellent with the ability to turn the lights on and off several times during the same night to timings of your choosing. You can even have a different pattern for each night. I used this initially on a greenhouse 120w heater tube as we were away in Austria last week and the forecast was for very cold weather at the back end of the week. The heater is to protect our washing machine and pipes in the garage, so I programmed it not to start the heater until Thursday, then to only run between 9pm and 9am.
