Smooth operater

I changed for the first time the gearbox fluid in my 100,000 mile BMW E63. The gearbox had never had a fluid change as BMW deems the gearbox is sealed for life? The gear change was jumpy and snatched into gear occasionally. I decided to change the gearbox fluid, this was achieved by draining the gearbox through the sump plug 4 litres at a time. I did this 4 times the final time I removed and replaced the gearbox filter and put this additive in. Each time I replaced /renewed the fluid the gearbox improved its gear changes. When I put this in it has made a huge difference to the gear change. It now drives totally different. I can certainly recommend it.Read full review

Money saving

Already used the Instant Shudder Fix from same manufacture, went back on their website to check how to maintain this, read the report on the Platinum Protectant, having spent a fair amount flushing my gearbox and renewing the oil fully I decided to add this to protect the fresh oil, my gearbox was shuddering badly before the oil flush and change , but together with the Shudder Fix this has sorted it all out , my XC90 has 211000 miles on it , my gearbox now is as smooth silk, worth every penny, just pour in the correct amount and forget it Read full review

Solved Auto harsh changes.

My auto box wasnt smooth in shifts and began to get shudder at 40mph. Changed gearbox oil and added lubegard platinum in with new oil. The transformation is Brilliant. Cant tell the gears change, smoother running, improvement in economy. Really good stuff this.Read full review
