Shocked!
I used this the weekend I got it after deliberately not topping up my leaky power steering so I had room for some of this stuff...
Had read mostly good reviews and one or two unfounded claims of making it worse but, decided this was for me.
Sooo glad I did. I've used maybe a third of a bottle and it has stopped completely as have any noises.
This was a huge worry for me as replacing power steering was £400 from my particular garage.
Saved a small fortune and worked superbly for me.
Vehicle: Transit Connect 1.8 TDCI 2008.
Money very well spent.Read full review

Not worked for my car
When i looked at reviews for this product it looked great to fix my power steering and i asked my mechanic if this was okay to use as my power steering had a small leak he could not immediately detect. had the stuff in since it arrived and i made sure the fluid was drained before adding this entire bottle. the steering now has a squeak when driving and it does seem to diminish the longer i drive. time to go back to the old liquid.Read full review

No more hard spots
My car (Volvo XC90) had hard spots in the middle and was pretty hard to steer when cold even though car has new steering fluids. This product eliminated all those symptoms, now it steers very nice without any hard spots.Read full review

Lucas power steering fuid
Used one bottle and the leak stopped within two weeks. Is thick and does make the steering box wine when cold but that doesn’t hurt the rack. Took what fluid out that I could after 2 months and put normal fluid in to stop the noise once racks seals were even better.Read full review

1954 Pontiac chieftain
My steering box was leaking bad the seal to fix it wasn't much money but the job required steering box removal 😞 after removal of some fluid adding a full bottle of product it only leaks a a thimble full if that . And i can live with that😁Read full review

Chemical engineering at its worst
Brought this as I’m optimistic, considering a an o ring is a few pence this is an expensive fix. Also it introduced a power steering pump whine, basically a thick psf so will indeed introduce flow problems putting more strain on the system. Liquid fixes just don’t work they mask problems or create them.Read full review

Didn't help!
I was really hoping that it will fix my rack leak on my Citroen C5 hdi and save my bunch of money. I followed the instruction on the bottle. Unfortunately, it did not work at all. I was losing the same amount of power fluid, and had to top up on daily basis. Eventually, I end up buying a new rack. Ouch!
Maybe it worked for some, but not for me.Read full review
