Does exactly what it is supposed to!
Quite a bad power steering fluid leak (200 ml over 3-4 days) seems to have been curtailed with this product. It is very viscous and long-term I am not sure how the power steering pump will cope but it does exactly what it says on the outside of the bottle and has potentially (in the short term) saved me hundreds of pounds.Read full review

Fantastic Product!
My car developed a really bad steering rack leak - then failed its MOT because of it. As a last resort before having to shell out a fortune on a new rack and an expensive garage bill, I bought this product. The reviews were good and with fingers crossed, we poured it in. It worked so well on the seals that the leak stopped almost immediately. The next day it passed the MOT!

power steering fluid keep needing to be topped up?
wow, is really gloopy thick, should have used a wider funnel. but 80 miles after using it i still have no oil drips and power steering is as it should be. i shopped around and paid under £17 for mine. plus £8 to top up with normal psf. savedloads as 2nd hand reservoirs were £60.00. then an hours labour for fitting one.

It worked for me
I had quite a bad leak on the end of the steering rack... It got so bad that it emptied overnight... I read the reviews for this product and thought what have I got to lose for £15... as the pump reservoir was empty I filled it completely with the Lucas product... within minutes of turning the wheel the steering became lighter and less noisy... the real test was did it leak.... to my amazement it didn't!..it didn't lose a drop overnight and it's now been a week commuting 50 miles per day... I don't know how long it will last and it doesn't seem to work for everyone but for me on the seal that was leaking it worked... it has saved me hundreds of pounds for the cost of a new rack... fingers crossed!..🤞Read full review

It stopped my squeaky steering box!
I've used additives before and never been really impressed bythem, but this one did work. I replaced the reservoir with Lucas and after about 50 miles of driving the squeak has now stopped!

Solved my oil leak
Steering box was leaking and needing topping up every 3 days. Didn't expect much from this stuff but 1 small top up and it stopped the leak.
Obviously will rebuild steering box eventually but this stuff is an excellent temporary fix.Read full review
